Apprenticeship
Our apprentices learn on our jobs: data halls, hospitals, towers and plants. Training runs through the joint apprenticeship committee, and our own crews teach the field half.

The five years
Safety, blueprint reading and the basics of conduit and wire, in class two evenings a week and on a crew every day.
Branch circuits, lighting and the first work on switchgear, under a journeyman at every step.
Rotations through fit-out, service and controls crews, with the code, motors and drives in class.
Leading small tasks, testing and the exam work that finishes the program.

Applying
Yes. Apprentices are paid from the first day and the rate rises as hours and classes are completed. The scale is set by the local agreement.
Applicants go through the joint apprenticeship committee, which sets the rules on age, schooling and testing. We can point you to its current requirements.
Send your name, phone and trade experience through the form below. Journeyman openings come up as projects are awarded.
They work under a journeyman, in the ratio the local agreement sets. They do not work alone on energized equipment.
